Narcisse Parant

Narcisse Parant (born February 5, 1794 in Metz , † February 5, 1842 in Paris ) was a French lawyer and politician. During the July monarchy he was a member of parliament for many years and education minister for six weeks.

Parant settled as a lawyer in Metz down and was after the July Revolution of 1830 in the same year Procurator General of Metz, 1831 by Bourges . In the elections to the Chamber of Deputies on July 5, 1832, Parant was able to win a seat for the 2nd constituency of the Moselle department and remained a member of parliament until his death. In 1832 he was appointed Advocate General at the Cour de Cassation . Under Louis-Mathieu Molé's government, Parant was briefly Undersecretary in the Ministry of Justice in 1837. On March 12, 1839 Parant was advisor at the Cour de cassation and headed the Ministry of Education from March 31, 1839 to May 12, 1839.
