Narelle Moras

Karen Narelle Moras (after marriage Narelle Senior ; born May 6, 1956 ) is an Australian swimmer . Her height is 1.70 m.

Life

As one of six siblings, Narelle Moras grew up in Ryde , a suburb of Sydney . She was trained by Don Talbot .

successes

Moras took part for Australia in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich . In the 400-meter freestyle swimming , she was eliminated in the preliminary run. In the 800 meter freestyle, she reached the final as the second of her preliminary run, in which she reached 8th place with 9:19:06 min. Her sister Karen , who was two years older than her , was a medalist at the 1968 Olympic Games and a former world record holder in the 400 and 800 meters freestyle, was eliminated from the 800 meter freestyle in Munich in the preliminary stages.

1973 Moras won the New South Wales Championships in the 800 meter freestyle discipline in 9: 12: 6 min. She was able to defend the title in 1975.

At the first swimming world championships in 1973 in Belgrade , Moras was eighth over 400 meters freestyle with 4:34:94 minutes and fifth over 800 meters freestyle with 9:09:93 minutes.
