Coordinates: 32 ° 6 ′ S , 118 ° 11 ′ E The Shire of Narembeen is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 3833 km² and has about 800 inhabitants (2016).
Narembeen is located in the southeast of the state in the western Australian "wheat belt" about 230 kilometers east of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Narembeen, where 470 inhabitants live (2016).

The Scarembeen Council has eleven members, nine councilors are elected by the residents of the two wards (five from the rural, four from the town ward). The council chairman and shire president and deputy are elected by all residents of the shire.
