The Domu Dziecka nr 1 "Nasz Dom" im. Maryny Falskiej ( German Orphanage No. 1 "Our House" - Maryna Falska House ) is an orphanage in the Warsaw district of Bielany . It was founded in 1919 as Nasz Dom (Our House) in the city of Pruszków and looked after by Janusz Korczak . In 1928 the facility was moved to Bielany. The building, which was erected between 1927 and 1930, is a protected architectural monument .

The facility was founded on November 15, 1919 at the initiative of the Childcare Department of the Central Trade Union Commission at 12 Cedrowa Street in Pruszków. 50 working-class children between the ages of 7 and 14 were cared for, whose parents died in exile and in prisons. Maryna Falska became the head of the home, while Korczak was the home's educational advisor and doctor. He introduced his concept and education system that respected the dignity and rights of the child.

While the first few years were a struggle for survival, the situation changed fundamentally when Aleksandra Piłsudska joined the board. The home received a loan in 1927 to build its own building. The competition for the new Nasz Cathedral in Bielany was won by the architect Zygmunt Tarasin. Our house was officially opened three years later.

In 1946 the facility was redesigned in line with socialism and named in 1951 after the professional revolutionary Feliks Dzierżyński (1877-1926). The continuation of the work in the sense of Janusz Korczak and Maryna Falska could only be gradually introduced again in the years from 1983 to 1996. This was done in collaboration with the Institute for Educational Research. International contacts and youth exchanges with Germany, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Israel were organized. The Towarzystwa Nasz Dom support association has existed again since 1992 .

The building was entered in the Warsaw Monument Register of the Masovian Voivodeship under the number A-792 on March 28, 2008 .
