In September 2015, Massenet sold its remaining NAP shares for about 136 million euros to the Italian fashion group Yoox SpA (new owner of NAP since March 2015) and then left the company. She then focused on her chairmanship of the British Fashion Council . In 2017 she then took on a role in the chairmanship of Farfetch.

She was married to Arnaud Massenet, a French hedge fund manager with whom she has two daughters, and lives in London. For her services to the British economy, she was accepted as a member of the Order of the British Empire in November 2009 . On December 31, 2015, she was ennobled as Dame Commander of the same order and has since carried the nobility title “ Lady ”.
