Natalija Istomina
Natalija Istomina (born June 5, 1973 in Klaipėda , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian professor, former politician , Vice Minister of Education.
Life
After graduating from the 23rd Middle School in the Port of Klaipėda in 1995, Istomina graduated from the Klaipėda Higher Medical School and became a medical nurse and beautician . In 2001 she completed her bachelor's degree in education at the Pedagogical Faculty of Klaipėdos universitetas and became a teacher. In 2002 Istomina completed her master's degree in social work at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Klaipėdos universitetas and in 2011 received her doctorate at the Medical Faculty of Turku University in Finland on the subject of "Abdominalinės-chirurginės sveikatos priežiūros kokybė".
From 1995 to 2003, Istomina worked as a nurse in Klaipėdos jūrininkų ligoninė . From 2001 she was the faculty administrator and assistant at the Klaipėdos universitetas . From 2006 she taught as a lecturer and was vice dean. She is a professor and advisor to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University .
From 2011 to 2015 Istomina was a member of the Klaipėda Municipality Council . Since October 2014, she has been Deputy Minister for Education and Science , Deputy Minister Pitrėnienė in the Butkevičius cabinet .
Istomina has been a member of the Tvarka ir teisingumas party since 2008 .
