Natalija Jurijiwna Korolewska ( Ukrainian Наталія Юріївна Королевська ; Russian Наталия Юрьевна Королевская / Natalija Yuryevna Korolewskaja18th May 1975 in Krasnyi Luch , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, politician and was from December 27, 2012 Minister of Social Policy in the Cabinet of Mykola Azarov . In the parliamentary elections in 2006 and 2007 Korolewska was elected to the Verkhovna Rada for the Batkivshchyna party , which belongs to the Blok Yuliya Tymoshenko (BJuT) . Korolewska supported Yulia Tymoshenko's candidacy in the 2010 presidential election . From 2005 to 2011 she was a member of the All-Ukrainian Association "Fatherland" . In March 2012 Korolewska was expelled from the BJuT parliamentary group on the grounds that she had cooperated with the government of President Yanukovych .

Korolewska and her party ran an intense campaign for the 2012 parliamentary elections. She always described herself as an opposition politician with a European and social democratic vision and explicitly denied any possible cooperation with the Party of Regions after the elections. Critics accused her, however, of the fact that her party's election campaign was a deception by the Yanukovych government in order to pull votes away from the actual opposition parties. On December 27, 2012, Korolewska was appointed Minister of Social Policy in the newly formed cabinet of Mykola Azarov .

At the end of March 2014, she announced her candidacy for the 2014 presidential election in Ukraine , which she later withdrew.

Private

Korolewska is married and has two sons. Her father was a director in the mining industry, her mother worked as a teacher. Her older brother Konstantin is also an entrepreneur and lives in Moscow . From 2010 to 2011 he was Russian Deputy Minister for Regional Development.
