Carl V. Dupré

Carl V. Dupré (born June 7, 1965 in Cranston , Rhode Island ) is an American screenwriter who mainly works for B-films.

Life

In 1990 Dupré graduated from Rhode Island College with a bachelor's degree in film studies. Two years later he moved to Los Angeles .

Dupré began his film career as an assistant editor in 1992 while working on the action film Bloodfist 4 - Deadly Dragon . Several other productions followed by 1997, in which he was involved as an assistant editor, including the horror film Scream 2 .

In 1996 he made his debut as a screenwriter for the series Bone Chillers and first worked with the director and screenwriter Adam Rifkin . In 1999 the two worked together again on the film Detroit Rock City , Rifkin took over the direction, Dupré co-wrote the script.

In the following years Dupré wrote the script for various horror productions. In 2002, for example, he was involved in the direct-to-DVD production Hellraiser: Hellseeker , followed by its sequel Hellraiser: Hellworld in 2005 . Rick Bota directed both times .

Dupré is married.
