Hellraiser: Hellseeker is the sixth installment in the Hellraiser horror film series and was released on DVD in 2002. Ashley Laurence plays Kirsty Cotton again, the protagonist from the first two parts of the Hellraiser series. The film is also known as Hellraiser 6: Hellseeker .

action

Kirsty Cotton is now married to her husband Trevor. However, he planned to kill his wife, whom he cheated with three other women, together with an accomplice in order to get Kirsty's inheritance. When Kirsty is on the road with her husband, an accident occurs and their car falls into a lake. Her husband can save himself, but Kirsty is missing. Traumatized and plagued by nightmares, her husband tries to find his way back to life, but then the police suspect him of the murder of Kirsty. In trying to prove his innocence, he comes across a plot. Because Kirsty is not dead, instead she has re-entered an alliance with the Pinhead to save her own life. Because after Trevor had given her a mysterious cube, the Zenobites had found Kirsty's trail again. In order to save herself, she betrayed her husband, his accomplices and lovers to the Pinhead in exchange for her own life. Trevor's experiences turn out to be part of his torture by the pinhead at the end of the film. The car accident in which Kirsty disappeared was actually caused by the shot in the head that Trevor received from his wife. When the police fish the car out of the lake, they find the gun that was used to shoot the other people, and Kirsty is able to convince the police that her husband, after confessing to her, committed suicide while driving. Finally, a policeman gives Kirsty her wedding anniversary present, which was also in the car: the die.

criticism

"Sixth part of the" Hellraiser "series, which offers both bloody and confused horror entertainment of the harder kind. Clive Barker's horror character "Pinhead" is driving the action again, but it only functions as a vague recognition mark. "
