Natalja Borissowna Lebedewa ( Russian Наталья Борисовна Лебедева , English transcription Natalya Lebedeva ; born December 16, 1964 in Zaporozhye , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Ukrainian figure skater who competed for the Soviet Union in a single skate .

In 1984 and 1990 Lebedeva became the Soviet champion in figure skating for women. After her compatriots Kira Iwanowa and Anna Kondraschowa had retired , she was number one in the Soviet women's team. In 1989 she was Vice European Champion in Birmingham behind Claudia Leistner and again Vice European Champion in Leningrad in 1990 , this time behind Evelyn Großmann . She was the last figure skater to win a medal in a single run for the Soviet Union. At world championships , her best result was fifth, which she achieved in Paris in 1989 and in Halifax in 1990 .

Her trainers were Vladimir Kovalyov , Eduard Pliner and Igor Ksenofontow .
