Natalia Ivanovna Sedova
Natalja Ivanovna Sedowa ( Russian Наталья Ивановна Седова ; born April 17, 1882 , † January 23, 1962 in Corbeil-Essonnes ) was a Russian revolutionary and the second wife of Leon Trotsky .
Life
Natalja Ivanovna Sedowa was the daughter of Ivan Sedov and Olga Kolschewski. In 1903 she married Leon Trotsky and followed him into exile and exile after the victory of Stalinism in the Soviet Union . The connection resulted in two sons, Lev and Sergei . Like Leon Trotsky himself later, they were murdered by Stalinists. In 1951 Natalya Ivanovna Sedova left the Fourth International because of differences over the question of the character of the Soviet Union as a Stalinist regime.
