The Nathan Hills are a series of hills in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Southern Cross Mountains they loom in the eastern part of the Arrowhead Range .
The southern group of a 1966-1967 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named them after Simon Nathan, the team's chief geologist .
