National Marine Aquarium

The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth is Europe's deepest and the UK 's largest aquarium .

It is located in the Coxside district, right by the harbor and the fish market. The modern building houses several large aquariums, a lecture hall, a café and a shop. The aquariums are provided with centimeter-thick acrylic glass. The largest pool is ten meters deep and can be viewed from different sides. Several sharks and other fish swim in it. Sea urchins , seahorses and coral fish are housed in numerous smaller aquariums .
