North Miami is a city in Miami-Dade County in the US state of Florida with 58,786 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
North Miami is located on Biscayne Bay , about 3 miles north of Miami . Adjacent communities are Miami Shores , Biscayne Park , Bal Harbor , Bay Harbor Islands , Indian Creek , Sunny Isles Beach , North Miami Beach, and Opa-locka .
climate
The climate is mild and warm, light with a light wind from the sea. Statistically, it rains an average of 40% of the days in the summer months, even if only for a short time. The highest temperatures are in May to October, with up to 33 ° C. The coldest months from December to February with an average of only 12 ° C. Snowfall is almost unknown in the region.
Religions
North Miami currently has 47 different churches from 16 different denominations. Among the churches belonging to a denomination, the Baptist congregation is most strongly represented with 10 churches. There are also 13 churches that do not belong to any denomination (as of 2004).

27.5% of the population were younger than 20 years, 29.9% were 20 to 39 years old, 27.8% were 40 to 59 years old, and 14.8% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 34 years. 48.1% of the population were male and 51.9% were female.
The median annual income was $ 37,792, with 24.0% of the population living below the poverty line.
In 2000, English was the first language of 35.49% of the population, 33.28% spoke Haitian , 24.88% spoke Spanish, and 6.35% had another native language.
