Kendale Lakes is about 15 km southwest of Miami . The CDP is affected by Florida State Roads 94 and 821 ( Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike , toll).

According to the 2010 census, the 56,148 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 18,964 households.
