Palm Springs North is a census-designated place (CDP) in Miami-Dade County in the US state of Florida with 5253 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Palm Springs North is about 15 km northwest of Miami and is affected by Florida State Road 860 .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 5253 inhabitants were distributed among 1604 households. The population density was 2918.3 inh / km². 95.2% of the population identified themselves as whites , 1.4% as African American , 0.1% as Indians and 0.5% as Asian Americans . 1.7% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.1% to several ethnic groups. 77.7% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 there were children under the age of 18 in 44.4% of all households and persons aged at least 65 years in 34.5% of all households. 87.2% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring). The average household size was 3.34 people and the average family size was 3.47 people.
