Leisure City is a census-designated place (CDP) in Miami-Dade County in the US state of Florida with 22,655 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Leisure City is directly adjacent to the city of Homestead to the south and is located about 40 km southwest of Miami . The CDP is affected by US Highway 1 and Florida State Road 821 ( Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike , toll).
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 22,655 inhabitants were distributed over 6,669 households. The population density was 2,574.4 inh / km². 73.0% of the population identified themselves as whites , 17.5% as African American , 0.2% as Indians and 0.9% as Asian Americans . 5.8% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.6% to several ethnic groups. 74.9% of the population was Hispanic or Latino .
In 2010 children under 18 years of age and 23.6% of all households lived in 52.2% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 82.3% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring). The average household size was 3.63 people and the average family size was 3.85 people.
33.8% of the population were younger than 20 years, 28.7% were 20 to 39 years old, 25.0% were 40 to 59 years old, and 12.7% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 31 years. 50.2% of the population were male and 49.8% were female.
