Country Club is a census-designated place (CDP) in Miami-Dade County in the US state of Florida with 47,105 residents (as of 2010).

Country Club is located around 20 km north of Miami and borders the cities of Miramar ( Broward ), Miami Gardens and Miami Lakes as well as the CDP Palm Springs North .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 47,105 inhabitants were distributed over 17,754 households. The population density was 4205.8 inh / km². 77.4% of the population identified themselves as whites , 13.3% as African American , 0.1% as Indians and 1.9% as Asian Americans . 4.9% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.4% to several ethnic groups. 78.8% of the population was Hispanic or Latino .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 45.3% of all households and persons aged 65 or over lived in 18.8% of all households. 76.9% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.90 people and the average family size was 3.23 people.

27.8% of the population were younger than 20 years old, 32.9% were 20 to 39 years old, 26.7% were 40 to 59 years old, and 12.6% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 34 years. 46.4% of the population were male and 53.6% were female.

The median annual income was $ 49,764, with 15.5% of the population living below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the first language of 30.74% of the population, 64.02% spoke Spanish and 5.24% had another mother tongue.
