The Museum of Contemporary Art (North Miami) (MOCA) is an art museum in North Miami in Florida in the USA .

history

The museum was founded in 1994. The construction of the museum with 2,100 m² of exhibition space was carried out by the New York architecture firm Gwathmey Siegel & Associates in cooperation with the company Gelabert-Navia from Miami . The new museum building was inaugurated in 1996. Its geographic location is 25.8904 ° N 80.18325 ° W.

Exhibition activity

The museum shows works from its own collection as well as exhibitions with works by US and foreign artists.
