The 1971 season was the 5th regular and final season of the second highest division in Swiss small-field handball .

mode

This season, 14 teams played in two groups in the " everyone against everyone " mode with a home or away game. The winners of the two groups played in the final of the National League B championship. If a team that is the second team of a club becomes champions, there is also a promotion game, in which the second of the group inherits the place. In the event of a tie, the better goal difference decided.
