Deux Balés National Park
The Deux Balés National Park was founded in 1937 as the Forêt Classée des deux Balés and declared a National Park in 1967. It is located in western Burkina Faso , near Boromo on the western bank of the Mouhoun and covers approx. 56,000 ha.
Elephants , hippos , buffalo , various antelopes and crocodiles have been identified in large animals .
