The National Radical Camp (Polish: Obóz Narodowo-Radykalny) is a neo-fascist organization in Poland, which is based on the tradition of a fascist party of the same name from the interwar period . The organization was founded around 1993 and registered as an association in 2003. The ONR has an estimated at least 1000 members and many supporters throughout Poland who organize themselves in regional associations. The ONR takes an ultra-nationalist , religiously fundamental, anti-Semitic and terrorist standpoint. Therefore, for the Polish Social Democrats (SLD) and other important political parties, it represents a threat to national security and a danger to the Jewish population in Poland.

criticism

ONR actions are often sharply criticized, for example the participation in anti-homosexual riots during the Gay Pride parades in Warsaw and Poznan in 2005 and 2006. In the past, the Opole public prosecutor's office had applied for the dissolution of local structures in Brzeg . October 2009 was granted by the district court. The Polish Catholic Church distances itself from ONR and similar organizations, but there are open supporters among the priests.
