Nationwide Building Society is the largest building society in the UK and is headquartered in Swindon .
The building society looks after around 13 million customers and employs around 19,000 people (as of 2008). The company was founded in 1884. In 2007 the company merged with the British building society Portman Building Society .
Sponsorship
