Native strength

Native starch (also natural starch ) is an organic , macromolecular polysaccharide that is one of the carbohydrates . Natural starch is one of the most important reserves in plant cells , for example maize , wheat or potato starch .

Physically modified starches (pre-gelatinized, boiled, cold-swelling or instantized starches) are on an equal footing with native starches under food law .

Native starch always contains traces of proteins and fats .
