General

The group of trees consisting of an ash , a linden , an elm and a chestnut stood at Antfelder Strasse 1, 7 and 9 in the village. From an administrative point of view, it bears the name Naturdenkmal 048 - group of trees, 1 ash, 1 two-stemmed linden, 1 elm, 1 chestnut on the B 7 .

history

The group of trees was designated as a natural monument in 2006 by ordinance by the Hochsauerlandkreis . On June 15, 2011, the linden tree was released from a natural monument. The ash had to be felled due to stability problems, as did the elm in July 2015. Since the group of trees only consisted of the chestnut, the status of the monument was changed with the revision of the regulatory authority ordinance for the establishment of natural monuments within the built-up districts and the area of ​​application of the development plans in the Hochlandsauerkreis from 2016 repealed.

Prohibitions and Commandments

As with other natural tree monuments, it was prohibited to destroy, damage or otherwise impair its natural vitality. There is also a ban on building structures of all kinds, including paved paths, open-air, pipe or telecommunications lines, fences or other enclosures, advertising systems, sales stands, vending machines and parking spaces for vehicles, to create, attach or expand them.
