Natural monument sinkhole (2.2.2.2)

The natural monument Doline (2.2.2.2) with a size of 0.13 ha is located approximately 1.7 south of Bleireinigung . The natural monument (ND) is located in the urban area of Brilon . The area was designated as a natural monument (ND) in 2001 with the Hoppecketal landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis . The natural monument is surrounded by the Fauler Bruch / Hemmeker Bruch nature reserve . North of the ND is the natural monument Doline (2.2.2.1) 1 km away and the natural monument Schwagloch (2.2.2.3) 100 m away to the south . The ND is surrounded by the Fauler Bruch / Hemmeker Bruch nature reserve.

The ND sinkhole (2.2.2.2) is one of the five natural monuments in the Hoppecketal landscape plan that were defined as karst phenomena . There are three swallow holes and two sinkholes .

The sinkhole (2.2.2.2) is located in the middle of agricultural land. The immediate area is used as grassland. A small body of water seeps into the sinkhole. The slopes of the ND are wooded.
