Erlenbruchwald natural monument above the Deinscheider Siepen
The Erlenbruchwald natural monument above the Deinscheider Siepen is located in the Herdringer Forest north of Niedereimer in the urban area of Arnsberg and has a size of 0.21 ha . The area was designated as a natural monument (ND) by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis in 1998 with the Arnsberg landscape plan.
It is an alder forest on a mountain slope. Da ND is surrounded by spruce forest. In the ND it is forbidden to plant non-native species.
The ND was designated for the preservation and optimization of the area. The red list plant species there is to be preserved in the ND.
