Natural monument rock cliffs Dasberg

The natural monument rock cliffs Dasberg with a size of 0.6 ha is located west of Hövel in the urban area of Sundern (Sauerland) . The area was designated as a natural monument (ND) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 1993 with the Sundern landscape plan .

Object description

The rock cliffs on the north- facing upper slope of Dasberg consist of several rock cliffs spread over about 50 m. The rocks consist of gray and red Kramenzel limestone and plate limestone . The rocks are a maximum of 5 m high. The rocks are covered in moss.
