Emergence

Biotope

In 1998, the afforestation of a 40 hectare agricultural area began. Around 300,000 native shrubs and deciduous trees were planted on four sub-areas with a size of 32 hectares. A year later another planting followed on an area of 8 hectares. Two orchards with 150 fruit trees were added as well as a 3000 m² wet biotope. The first learning and information boards were set up in order to build a nature trail. A meadow orchard and a school forest were planted.

Nature discovery trail

In 2013, the initial idea for a nature experience trail was once again included in the planning and implemented. This step was made possible by the support of important sponsors.

Starting point at the end of the quay

From the end of the quay to Anklamer Allee there is a 3 km long path with over 20 play and learning stations.
