Mühlenbruch nature reserve (Goch)

The Mühlenbruch nature reserve (identifier KLE-017) is a 17.50 hectare nature reserve in the Kleve district near Hommersum near Goch , which was placed under protection in 1982.

The NSG consists of wet and humid meadows located directly on the border with the Netherlands , which extend along the Niers . The meadows are temporarily or permanently under water, and in places there are flood plains. The meadows are cultivated extensively and there are reed stands along the banks . Among other things, such as found in the NSG meadow birds snipe their habitat.
