Naviglio Pavese

The Naviglio Pavese is a naviglio ( canal ) in Italy that is 35 km long.

It was built in the 14th century, starts at Porta Ticinese in Milan , where Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese meet in the old port basin, the Darsena, and connects Milan to the Po via Binasco , Pavia and the Ticino River . 1805 was I. Napoléon complete it.

In addition to the Naviglio Grande (to the west), the Naviglio Pavese offers an elegant way for cyclists to leave the city (to the south): A very well developed cycle path runs out of town to the right and from Binasco to the left.
