Nawaandordschiin Jadambaa

Nawaandordschiin Dschadambaa ( Mongolian Наваандоржийн Жадамбаа ) (* 1900 , † 1939 ) was the first head of state of the Mongolian People's Republic . His term of office was only one day, from November 28-29, 1924.

After the death of Bogd Khan in May 1924, the way was clear for fundamental changes in Outer Mongolia . On July 13, 1924, the country was declared a " People's Republic " as the first Soviet satellite state of its kind and on November 26, 1924, it received a constitution .

On November 28, 1924 he was appointed chairman of the Great State of Chural . He was dismissed a day later; the USSR put Peldschidiin Genden through as head of state.

Navandordjiin Jadambaa fell victim to the Stalinist terror in Mongolia ; he died in prison in 1939, the date and place of death are unknown.
