Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah
Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jābir al-Sabāh , Arabic نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح, DMG Nawāf al-Aḥmad al-Ǧābir aṣ-Ṣabāḥ (born June 25, 1937 in Kuwait ), is the half-brother of Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah ( Arabic صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح, DMG Ṣabāḥ al-Aḥmad al-Ǧābir aṣ-Ṣabāḥ ), the Emir of Kuwait and the Crown Prince. He is also deputy commander of the Kuwaiti army.
Life
Sheikh Nawaf is the son of Ahmad al-Jabir as-Sabah ( Arabic أحمد الجابر الصباح, DMG Aḥmad al-Ǧābir aṣ-Ṣabāḥ ) and his eleventh wife Yamama. After finishing school, he studied in the UK.
His appointment as Crown Prince was made by decree on February 7, 2006.
