The Naxoshalle in Frankfurt am Main is a former factory building of the Naxos-Union company . It was built in 1906/07. It is located in the Ostend district near the zoo . Today the hall is mainly used for cultural events.

At the end of the 1980s, the production of abrasives in the hall was given up and production relocated to Butzbach . In 1988 the hall, which was in danger of falling into disrepair, was bought by Josef Buchmann and from 1989 onwards the city of Frankfurt rented it. The main hall has been a listed building since 1992 , although further use is controversial. Some adjoining halls on the former factory site that were not under monument protection have meanwhile been demolished. Before that, these were used by graffiti sprayers. In 2006 the city bought the Naxoshalle from Josef Buchmann for an amount of 20 million euros. The free area is currently being rebuilt.

The Willy Praml theater and the Die KäS cabaret have their venues here . This is also used on Tuesdays from March to early December by naxos.KINO, which shows documentaries followed by a film talk. The experimental stage teAtrum VII had its rehearsal rooms here from 2007 to the beginning of 2013 and its most important venue until 2009. StudioNAXOS has been at home here as a platform for young performing artists from Hessen since 2014 . In addition, it is used as the studio of the Bornheim youth shop, an institution of the municipal child, youth and family aid of the city of Frankfurt am Main.

The Naxoshalle is part of the Rhein-Main industrial culture route .
