Nazlı Eray

Nazlı Eray (* 1945 in Ankara ) is a Turkish writer.

Eray studied law in Istanbul, where she had already attended school. She then worked for the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Public Relations until 1968. Her increased writing activity began after the birth of her twins. In 1975 her first book Ah Bayım Ah was published . More stories and novels followed. Eray has also been a columnist for renowned Turkish newspapers. Her works have been translated into numerous languages. Eray was awarded the Haldun-Taner and the Yunus-Nadi Prize in Turkey .
