Ndut is a language spoken in Senegal by the Serer in the central west of the country and in the northwest of the Thiès .

Together with the languages Lehar , Saafi , Noon and Palor , it is part of the Cangin languages , which belong to the northern group of the West Atlantic languages , which in turn belong to the Niger-Congo language family.

The French alternative name for the Ndut is Ndoute.

In 2002 the total number of speakers was about 35,000.
