Neasden is an above-ground London Underground station in the London Borough of Brent . It is in the Travelcard tariff zone 3 on Neasden Lane. The station served by the Jubilee Line was used by 3.41 million passengers in 2014. About half a kilometer to the west is one of the Metropolitan Line's workshops .

The station was opened on August 2, 1880 by the Metropolitan Railway (predecessor of the Metropolitan Line). At the beginning the station was called Kingsbury and Neasden ; it was renamed on January 1, 1910 in Neasden and Kingsbury and finally on January 1, 1932 in Neasden to avoid confusion with Kingsbury station .

From November 20, 1939, trains of the Bakerloo Line stopped here, taking over the traffic on the Stanmore branch line. However, the parallel traffic only lasted a few months. To enable acceleration and unbundling, trains on the Metropolitan Line have passed this station without stopping since December 7, 1940. On May 1, 1979, the newly opened Jubilee Line took over the traffic of the Bakerloo Line.
