Secondary crown
As Nebenkrone even Nebenperigon or Paracorolla and Corona are in Botany in some angiosperms occurring crown-like structure next to the actual corolla referred. In some carnation plants , the secondary crown is formed by a tongue-shaped, sometimes lobed outgrowth (ligula) of the petals. However, it can also be formed by widening the base of the stamens , which can be fused together (e.g. daffodils ). A corolla is also formed by the corona, located within the corolla of passion flower plants and usually consisting of numerous filamentous appendages ( staminodes ).
Stamens also form in the milkweed one Nebenkrone
