Nebit was an ancient Egyptian vizier who was probably under Sesostris III. (approx. 1872 BC to around 1852 BC) officiated.

Nebit is so far only known from the remains of his mastaba , which is next to the pyramid of Sesostris III. found in Dahshur . The mastaba was first excavated in 1894 by Jacques de Morgan , but he was unable to determine the name of the owner. Renewed excavations by Dieter Arnold finally revealed the title and name of the Nebit. The mastaba consisted of a core of adobe bricks and was clad on the outside with limestone . This cladding was stolen by stone robbers in ancient times and only small fragments have survived. On the north side of the building, however, the cladding fell to the ground in ancient times. These blocks have been covered in desert sand; the later stone robbers therefore overlooked them. The wall shows tapes in raised relief with the titles and the name of Nebit.
