The Danger were founded in 2010 and started playing at IFL in 2011. The founder is Bosselman Entertainment LLC, a family company that runs a chain of workshops and petrol stations.

In their history, the Danger have reached the Playoffs and three times the UnitedBowl .

Nebraska Danger fans were voted IFL's Best Fans in 2013, and IFL's Best Franchise Beyond.

IFL season 2011

The first game in the club's history was won on March 7, 2011 against the Wichita Wild with 70:59. Despite all this, the season ended with 11 defeats, with only three wins and the playoff participation was missed.

IFL season 2012

Also in the second season the playoffs were clearly missed. With 5 wins and 9 losses, the Danger finished the year 2012 in 6th place at the Intense Conference.

IFL season 2013

The third season since the existence of the Danger was completed with 10 wins and 4 losses and qualified Nebraska to participate in the playoffs. In the Conference Championship they knocked out the Colorado Ice before it set a 40:43 defeat against the Sioux Falls Storm in the final, the UnitedBowl .

It was by far the best Danger season. Not only did they become Intense Conference Champion and UnitedBowl finalist, but quarterback Jameel Sewell was also named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Offensive Player of The Year in the IFL.

IFL season 2014

In 2014 they finished second in the Intense Conference behind the Colorado Ice, but still qualified for the playoffs and also won the away game in the Conference Championship against the Ice with 45:15. As in 2013, the Danger moved into the UnitedBowl. However, they lost the final again against the Sioux Falls Storm 63:46.

With offensive tackle Darius Savage , defensive end Claude Wroten and defensive back Jamar Love , however, three players were placed in the All-IFL 1st team.

IFL season 2015

Also in 2015, 10 wins and 4 defeats were enough to win the Intense Conference. In the Conference Championship the Tri-Cities Fever were eliminated with 86:43. Thus, the Danger reached the UnitedBowl for the third time in a row, where there was another duel against the Sioux Falls Storm . But the third edition also ended with a defeat for the Danger. In the end it was 62:27.

As in 2013, Jameel Sewell was named MVP and elected to the All-IFL 1st Team of the season. Teammate Waymon James went to the offensive rookie of the year .

IFL season 2016

Although the Danger had 10 defeats and only 6 wins at the end of the 2016 season, it was enough to participate in the Wild Card Games against the Billings Wolves , which was won 64:52. This year it shouldn't be enough for the UnitedBowl to participate. In the semifinals they lost to the Spokane Empire with 55:44.

Defensive back Jabari Gorman was voted Defensive Rookie of the Year after the season.

IFL season 2017

With 9 wins and 7 losses, the season ended in second place in the Intense Conference behind the Arizona Rattlers . The Rattlers defeated the Danger in the Conference Championship 62:36, which meant missing the UnitedBowl again.
