Neda Shahsavari (born September 21, 1986 in Kermanshah ) is an Iranian table tennis player . From 2006 to 2019 she participated in 13 world championships as well as in the individual competition of the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016 .
Career
In 2012, Neda Shahsavari qualified for participation in the individual competition of the 2012 Olympic Games . This made her the first Iranian table tennis player to take part in the Olympic Games. Here she was eliminated in the preliminary round against the Nigerian Funke Oshonaike . In 2016 she did not succeed in winning either , losing to Belarusian Alexandra Privalova .
From 2006 to 2019 - with the exception of 2007 - she was at all world championships , but never came close to medal ranks.
