Needle Island (from English needle , needle ' ) is an elongated and very narrow island off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It belongs to the Rauer Islands and is located south of Efremova Island .
Australian scientists named them descriptively.
