The Negro Hill , an approximately 100 m high hill on the Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It looms near the eastern end of South Beaches on the Byers Peninsula .
Participants in an Argentine Antarctic expedition descriptively named him around 1958 as Morro Negro (Spanish for Black Hill ). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated them into English in 1978.
