Neil Brown

Neil Brown (born February 22, 1940 in Melbourne ) is an Australian author , lawyer and politician with the Liberal Party of Australia .

Life

Brown studied law at the University of Melbourne and practiced as a lawyer after graduation. From 1969 to 1972, 1975 to 1983 and 1984 to 1991 Brown was a member of the Australian House of Representatives . From 1981 to 1982 he was Minister for Labor and Youth, in 1982 he was briefly Minister for Economy and 1982 to 1983 Minister for Communication.

After his political career as an MP, he wrote for the Australian magazine The Spectator .
