The Nelson-cliff is a striking cliff on the Pennell Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the west side of the Simpson Glacier .

The northern group of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913) led by British polar explorer Victor Campbell mapped it. The cliff is named after Edward William Nelson (1883–1923), biologist on this research trip .
