neo is a Hungarian electronics group .
Band history
neo was founded in autumn 1998 by Mátyás Milkovics and Márk Moldvai. Her first single, The Pink Panther Theme , has already been released in over 20 countries. After the two albums Eklektogram and Lo-Tech Man, Hi-Tech World , the two toured - supported by three tour musicians - through their homeland.
The band gained fame in Germany through the film Kontroll , whose soundtrack they contributed.
In early 2004, Milkovics and Moldvai went their separate ways; Milkovics reorganized with the newcomers Enikő Hodosi, Péter Kőváry and Gergő Szőcs neo . The fourth album was planned for 2005. The single from it, Record Straight , wasn't released until July 6, 2006.
Awards
The soundtrack to the film "Kontroll" won several awards, including the Mozart Prize of the 7th Art at the 2004 Aubagne International Film Festival .
