Neptun Island ( English , Russian Остров Нептун Ostrow Neptun ) is an island off the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located in the area of the Bunger Oasis .
Scientists from a Soviet Antarctic expedition named it. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia transferred this designation in a partial translation into English.
