Neptunia is a seaside resort in southern Uruguay .
geography
It is located on the Río de la Plata and the Arroyo Pando in the Canelones department east of the state capital Montevideo on the Costa de Oro . Pinamar-Pinepark is immediately adjacent to Neptunia to the east . The Ruta Interbalnearia runs through the seaside resort .
Residents
Neptunia has 4,774 inhabitants (as of 2011) and has shown a strong population increase in recent years. 15 years earlier, only 2050 inhabitants were registered.
