Costa de Oro
Costa de Oro is the name for the stretch of coast on the left bank of the Río de la Plata east of the Uruguayan capital Montevideo between the mouths of the Arroyo Pando and the Arroyo Solís Grande . There are a number of seaside resorts and cities on this stretch of coast, all of which can be reached via the Ruta Interbalnearia .
The Costa de Oro lies in the area of the Department Canelones and, apart from Ciudad de la Costa , denotes the entire coast.
