San Luis is a city in Uruguay .
geography
San Luis is located in the department of Canelones in sector 8 . It is located on the coast of the Río de la Plata between the east bordering Los Titanes and the west, separated by the Arroyo del Bagre , adjoining Guazú-Virá . In the northern hinterland is the Cerro Piedras de Afilar , where the Arroyo del Bagre has its source.

On October 15, 1963, San Luis was classified in the " Pueblo " category by Law No. 13,167 .
